Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 March 2026
EverFirst (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal information of parents and their children who use the EverFirst app (“App”).
1. Information We Collect
When you use EverFirst, we collect only what is necessary to provide the app experience:
- Parent Account Information: Name, email address, and login credentials, used solely to authenticate your account.
- Child Profiles: Your child's name, date of birth, and any optional details you choose to add.
- Milestone Data: Photos, videos, and descriptions of your child's milestones that you choose to log.
All of the above is stored locally on your device only. EverFirst does not have access to this information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
-
Provide the core app functionality (creating profiles, uploading milestones).
-
Display milestones and photos/videos on your home page.
-
Enable sharing of milestones with family and friends only when you choose to share.
-
Improve and maintain the app.
We do not share your child’s data with third parties or advertisers.
3. Sharing Information
EverFirst includes an optional sharing feature that allows you to share individual milestone images with family or friends.
- How sharing works: When you choose to share a milestone, a copy of that single image is sent directly from your device via your chosen method (email or SMS/text message). This is a one-time send initiated entirely by you.
- No cloud sharing: EverFirst does not upload shared images to any EverFirst server. The image is sent directly through your device's native email or messaging app.
- Your control: Sharing is always optional and entirely at your discretion. No milestone, photo, or video is ever shared without your explicit action.
4. Data Storage and Security
EverFirst is built with your family's privacy as a priority. All data — including child profiles, milestone photos, and videos — is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit, upload, or store any of your personal or milestone data on external servers.
This means:
- EverFirst staff have no access to your data at any time.
- Your memories are private to your device and your account.
- If your device is lost or you uninstall the app, your data cannot be recovered by us, as we do not hold a copy.
We encourage you to back up your device regularly using Apple's iCloud Backup or iTunes to protect your data.
5. Deleting Your Data
You are in full control of your data at all times.
- You can delete any child profile, milestone, photo, or video at any time directly within the app.
- Because all data is stored locally on your device, deletion is immediate and permanent. We do not hold copies of your data on any server, so deleted content cannot be recovered.
- To delete all EverFirst data entirely, simply delete the app from your device.
6. Children’s Privacy
-
EverFirst is designed for parents to track their own children’s milestones.
-
We do not knowingly collect data from children directly.
-
All data collected is controlled by the parent account.
7. Cookies and Analytics
-
We may use analytics tools to understand app usage and improve performance.
-
No personally identifiable information is shared with analytics providers.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
-
We will post the updated policy on our website and app.
-
We encourage you to review it regularly.
